Welcome to Saige's Way Dog Training!
My name is Whitney, owner and head trainer at Saige's Way Dog Training.
I am a professional dog trainer located in north of Pittsburgh, PA.
We specialize in novice to advanced obedience training and behavior modification.
The relationship between dog and owner is the most important part of my training. All behaviors good and bad stem from the state of the relationship; clear communication is key. My goal is to help dogs achieve a state of mind that will get them through all of life's obstacles.
I am here to educate dog owners on how these amazing creatures work. Knowing the why behind a dog’s behavior leads the owner into knowing how to problem solve in the future.
No dog is the same, no situation is the same and with that said I do not stick to only one training technique or method for every single dog.
My programs are molded to the dog as an individual.
From puppies to older dogs and from small breeds to large, any dog is trainable and we welcome them all.
Whether you are looking for a working partner or the perfect companion we have the knowledge and experience to get you there. 8+ years to be exact. From dogs who jump on people, fearful dogs who need confidence, dogs who bark and lunge at people dogs/people to serious animal or human aggression, we can help.
